If there's one topic which piques the interest of the British public, it's parking.
Whether it's neighbours leaving abusive notes on windshields ranting about where you've plonked your motor or the huge fines doled out by private firms, us lot can talk about this subject until the cows come home.
But you might want to be a bit more wary before you share an online tirade about a motorist's alleged parking faux pas in future, as this person has found out the hard way.
Earlier this month, an individual based in Devon's seaside resort of Torquay took to social media to slam a driver for dumping their Lamborghini in a disabled bay in a local car park.

They shared a snap of the flash motor - which appears to be the Huracán LP 610‑4 model - on a Facebook group named 'Spotted Torquay' while airing their grievances.

The post read: "Have Lamborghini so will park however and wherever I like, even if that means depriving a disabled person of a space."
This alone sparked a lot of chatter in the comment section, as people shared their thoughts on the supposed 'entitlement' of the Lambo driver.
One joked: "You angry about the parking or the fact they’ve got a Lambo and you haven’t?"

Another wrote: "Just tow it."
And a third said: "Don’t blame them... not your every day mundane car... parking spaces are too small for cars these days anyway."
This post ended up making its way back to the Lamborghini owner, who decided to clear up the speculation about him supposedly 'stealing' a spot from a disabled person in pretty incredible fashion.
Hilariously, he shared an image of himself lay down in front of his pricey motor while proudly clutching his Blue Badge - and cocking his prosthetic leg up. Cold.

Captioning the post, 'a picture for all my fans', the driver seemed to take all the online discourse about his alleged parking violation in his stride.
Needless to say, the person who complained about his parking was left with their tail between their legs.
They sheepishly commented on the original post saying: "Sooooo... erm, check the wall for a post update."
They also commented on the Lambo driver's snap saying they 'loved' the picture, while adding: "Almost didn't post [the complaint] but I'm kind of glad I did because this is a cracking pic, got to be top 5 of all time."
Laughter erupted among locals in the comment section once again as the original poster was left with egg on their face, as people thought it was 'bizarre that they just assumed the person wasn't disabled'.

One said: "You mugged yourself right off there."
Another giggled: "I love how this backfired and went viral in the owners favour."
A third chimed in saying: "This happens to my dad all the time, because he has a flash car they assume he isn't disabled."
A fourth added: "Jumping to conclusions final boss."

And a fifth wrote: "Exactly why people shouldn't jump to conclusions! A lot of it was jealousy over the car rather than the parking!"
In the UK, people with disabilities or health conditions can apply for Blue Badges which permit them to park closer to their destination.
You may automatically qualify for them if you meet certain criteria, but you can also contact your local council to see if you are eligible.
