A parking space in central London is being sold for three times the national average house price, having gone on the market for 'offers in excess of £750,000'.
The 28.15sqm spot, which can house a total of two cars, is located near the capital's popular Oxford Street in Portman Square, Mayfair.
It is based within a residential building boasting a 24-hour porter service, and has steel shutters to protect the space from would-be thieves.
An online ad for the 'studio car parking space', which is being sold by London estate agency Manors, reads: "A double garage space available within this 24 hour portered residential building on the east side of Portman Square, moments from the world [renowed] Selfridges store and Oxford Street."

Images show the 9.02m x 3.2m space can accommodate two vehicles parked nose-to-tail.
According to Property Data, as of February 2021 the average house price for the UK is £250,341 - around a third of the expensive parking space's minimum price.
Over in Spain, meanwhile, you could buy yourself an entire hamlet for less than the price of a London flat.
There are several hamlets on offer in Galicia, including Xerdiz, which is on offer for just €430,000 (£371,000) - obviously far cheaper than a lot of properties across the UK.

That sum would buy you a total of six buildings - two of which are full restored - set among rolling hills, forests and streams, less than 10 miles from the coast.
The listing reads: "The hamlet of Xerdiz is an ideal property for a group of people who want to adopt a quiet and self-sufficient life, close to nature."
About three miles away in Ourol, another hamlet is available for just €130,000 (£112,000). This one is composed of five buildings, one of which is in liveable condition.

Ten miles north of here, you could get your hands on a hamlet in Viveiro, comprised of three buildings by a river, just a couple of miles from beautiful beaches. This is also just €130,000 (£112,000), but all of the buildings need to be restored.
The only catch is that many of the homes are in need of a bit of TLC, having been left unloved by Spaniards leaving the countryside in favour of a more metropolitan life.
