A group of Ukrainian women are selling nudes in order to raise funds for the nation's soldiers in the ongoing battle against Russia.

Nastassia Nasko has rallied women in Ukraine to get behind their soldiers with a project named 'TerOnlyFans'.

The group have since raised an astounding amount of money.

The idea to send nudes to raise money for troops was first sparked just days into Russian president Vladimir Putin's invasion, which began on 24 February.

Nasko took to Twitter to try and help an acquaintance get out of Kharkiv, half-joking that if someone helped she'd send them a nude.

The 23-year-old was taken aback when she found her inbox filled with 10 messages in just five minutes after she tweeted.

Her acquaintance was safely transported out of the city and Nasko sent the man a nude for his help as promised.

With the help of her friend Anastasiya Kuchmenko, Nasko then set up 'TerOnlyFans' - 'Ter' short for territorial defence.

The project was launched on International Women's Day on 8 March.

Despite the similarity in name and similar concept, TerOnlyFans does not have any affiliation with OnlyFans.

Differently to OnlyFans, the content creators don't take requests.

"We are not sex workers, we are trying to raise money for the war," Nasko said.

Nasko told Business Insider how most of the creators are based in Ukraine and are mostly volunteers who signed up to help despite having no prior experience.

However, 10 of the creators do have previous experience with using sites such as OnlyFans.

It's also not the 38 creators – 35 women and three men – who receive the money.

The money instead goes straight to Ukraine's Territorial Defence.

Although some money goes to animal shelter organisations and to refugees as well.

The group have raised over $700,000 so far with a top donation having been $2,800 sent in cryptocurrency.

Nasko noted how people from all around the world have donated from the UK, France and the Netherlands, but that most are from Ukraine.

Kuchmenko still lives in Ukraine. Nasko lived in Kyiv before Putin's invasion began, but she has since moved to Warsaw in Poland. However, she is originally from Belarus.

She said: "I feel happy because I can support people in Ukraine and show that not all Belarusians like Russians and that we are good people. We want to help our neighbours."

The pair have no plans to conclude the project anytime soon either.

Nasko resolved: "We will end this project when Putin dies and Russia stops their aggression."
