A woman claims that she was ârobbedâ at gunpoint by a man before he then ordered her to add him on Facebook and asked her out on a date.
According to Amber Beraun, Damien Boyce even offered to pay her back for the robbery because she was âprettyâ and asked her on Facebook if sheâd like to âchill outâ with him.
If youâre trying to get a date, perhaps there are better ways to meet people than holding them up at gunpoint and taking their money.

Itâs just a thought, but maybe thatâs not the best strategy.

Amber was just checking the mailbox outside her home in Indianapolis on May 8 when a man approached her and pulled out a gun.
She said that the man forced her to hand over all of her cash, but then demanded that she befriend him on Facebook, messaging her telling her sheâs âtoo pretty to robâ and asking her to âcome chillâ with him.
Speaking to WRTV, Amber recalled: "He took [the gun] out of his pocket to show me what was going on â [he said] let me into your house. I did not do that.â
After refusing entry to the house, Amber gave over around $100 in cash to the man, but that wasnât enough for the alleged criminal, who insisted â all whilst holding a gun â that she become a Facebook connection with him.
Obviously, she agreed.
Well, youâre not going to say no, are you?
"I thought if maybe I added him on Facebook, he would leave, and he did,â she explained.
However, flirtatious messages started coming through, claiming that heâd pay her back because sheâs âprettyâ.
One such message read: "Look you know I'mma pay you back. It's a f***** up way to meet someone, but d*** you wass to pretty to rob."

Amber responded: "I believe you man.
âI can tell you're sweet, times just got rough.
âI know that."
The next message came through: "Come chill with me. I swear Iâm not on that type of timing.â
This time, she responded: "I do have a man. You know I canât do that LOL.
âI wish you the best tho".
Now, she says that she feels unsafe in her home after the incident.
"He really tried to rob me of my own things, but he took away my sense of safety from my own home," she continued.
"It makes me a little on edge knowing that people walk up and down the street, looking for places to commit crimes.
âIt makes it a little different when you hear noises at night."

Boyce has been charged with gunpoint robbery and is currently out on a bail bond of $7,500.
He was also arrested in connection with another robbery on June 12, and has further been charged with burglary, unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal recklessness, as well as battery.
He is alleged to have shot two people and hit another with a brick, before police claim he barricaded himself inside a building before eventually surrendering to the SWAT team.
