Author and conservative influencer Ashley St Clair is reportedly suing Elon Musk after claiming to have given birth to his 13th child.

Earlier this month, St Clair announced on social media that she had allegedly welcomed a son with the billionaire Tesla owner, writing on Twitter: "Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause."

Musk is yet to directly address St Clair's claims, however, he did respond 'Whoa' to a tweet discussing their alleged relationship — prompting a frustrated response from the children's author.

After claiming that Musk was yet to finish an 'agreement' over the infant, St Clair has now started proceedings to sue the 53-year-old billionaire.

According to PEOPLE, St Clair filed a petition for sole legal custody of the child - who is referred to as R.S.C - who was born in September 2024. She has also filed a request for a paternity test.

In the documents, St Clair claimed that she and Musk embarked on a 'romantic relationship in or about May 2023' and slept together in early 2024, when the child was allegedly conceived.

The petition also claims that Musk was not present for the child's birth and has only met the infant three times since he was born.

St Clair also claimed that Musk had 'acknowledged parentage of the child in various written correspondences' and included screenshots from alleged text messages between the pair in her claim.

Screenshots from the petition also saw the pair discuss safety concerns in regard to the child, with Musk allegedly writing in one message: "If I make a mistake on security, [R.S.C.] will never know his father."

St Clair claims this, along with other messages and Musk's visits to the pair, are acknowledgment that he is the father.

Her representative, Brian Glickich, told PEOPLE that she has filed parental and custody petitions 'to protect the best interests of her child', and claimed St Clair 'has made every effort to collaborate with Mr. Musk before taking this step'.

"She has no further comment on the contents of the petitions, which speak for themselves." he added.

LADbible Group has approached Elon Musk's representatives for further comment.

Musk shares 12 other children with three other women, originally becoming a father in 2002 after welcoming son Nevada with Canadian author and then-wife Justine Wilson. The child would tragically pass away just 10 weeks after birth.

St Clair's claims would mean she is now the fourth woman to welcome a child with the tech billionaire

Musk and Wilson went on to five more children - twins Vivian and Griffin, 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian, 19 - together.

He has three children with Canadian singer Grimes - real name Claire Boucher - sons X Æ A-Xii (pronounced 'X Ash A Twelve') and Tau Techno Mechanicus as well as daughter Exa Dark Sideræl.

He also welcomed twins Strider and Azure in June 2021, born slightly before Exa, with Shivon Zilis during a period of separation from Boucher and a third child, whose name has not been revealed, in 2024.
