Tis the season to be jolly after a Christmas miracle was bestowed upon unsuspecting people during a planned dinner.

There aren’t a lot of companies who cherish their workers and show it - especially during the holidays.

But this company isn’t like the rest.

No matter your career path, if you are working in a business who puts their employees first, you’re set for life.

This is exactly how these employees must feel after their boss’s good deed exceeded any expectation.

Imagine this: you’re sat at your company Christmas dinner, everything is normal and then suddenly you’ve been handed a small fortune.

As it turns out, 200 workers don’t need to imagine that as it happened to them.

When staff of a real-estate company were given a red envelope during their dinner party, they couldn’t have known that it contained a £8million Christmas bonus.

To celebrate a major expansion and meeting targets, St. John Properties rewarded their workers with a huge Christmas bonus.

That’s around £38,000 per person.

The reaction from those attending was of pure unfiltered joy, with one worker going on to describe it as 'life-changing'.

According to The Mirror, staff were all handed their cash bonuses after the generous bosses recognised their hard work after meeting their targets in developing 20 million square feet of warehouse, retail and office space.

Luckily, it was all captured on tape and a video taken shows how employees reacted to their huge reward at the dinner party.

The wonderful company, St John Properties has been operating since 1971 and began as a humble ‘local real estate developer’ before soon scaling to be one of the ‘largest and most successful privately held commercial real estate firms in the Mid-Atlantic region.’

That’s a pretty big achievement.

During the process of growth, they recognised the work staff put into making the business so successful, with the boss claiming that because of this, he wanted to make a 'significant' impact on the lives propping up its success'.

The generous leader told the publication after revealing the huge bonus to his excited workers that he wanted to 'reward' his employees in a 'big way'.

He added: "I'm thankful for every one of our employees, for their hard work and dedication. I couldn’t think of a better way to show it.

“I may steer the boat, but they're the ones that run the boat. They are the ones that make the boat go. Without the team, we are nothing."

This wonderful exchange took place in 2019, and at the time, an employee said about the reward: "What happened tonight was magical. It is life-changing."

How’s that for boosting workplace morale?
