Cassie has read out a series of texts in court that Sean 'Diddy' Combs sent her following an incident in a Los Angeles hotel where he was seen on video assaulting her.
The former partner of Combs is giving evidence to his trial as he stands accused of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, charges which he has pleaded 'not guilty' to.

Cassie, full name Casandra Ventura, has been telling the court about the LA hotel assault which occurred in 2016, with footage of the incident being shown to the jury despite legal representatives for Combs attempting to have it excluded as evidence.
Back on the stand today (14 May), Cassie has testified that after the incident she was sent a series of texts from Combs in which he repeatedly demanded that she call him.

The messages read:
“Call me”

Ventura told the court that she later responded to the messages by writing 'put the robe on', explaining that 'he was running around in a towel, and I was just looking out'.

She went on to testify that Diddy once again texted her 'Call me' and 'Call now', and when she was in a taxi leaving the hotel, he messaged her 'Call me the cops are here you’re going to abandon me all alone'.
Ventura texted back: "I have a black eye and a fat lip. You are sick for thinking it’s okay to do what you’ve done please stay far away from me."

Cassie yesterday (13 May) told the court about Diddy's 'freak off' parties, which are alleged to have been 'elaborate and produced sex performances'.
She said that during 'the first year of our relationship', Combs brought up the idea of 'freak offs' to her, and she said that it involved 'hiring an escort and setting up this experience, so that I could perform for Sean'.
Ventura and Combs broke up in 2018.
