Diddy has 'jail time extended' after 'multiple rule breaks'

Diddy is currently serving time for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution

Disgraced hip hop mogul Diddy has reportedly had his jail time extended.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs is currently in the middle of serving a four year prison sentence after being found guilty of two counts of transportation for prostitution in relation to former girlfriend Cassie Ventura and a woman referred to as 'Jane'.

The musician was sentenced after a high profile trial earlier this year, avoiding a life sentence after being found not guilty of the more serious racketeering charges.

He was scheduled for release in May 2028 due to time served, however, this appears to have been pushed back.

According to a report from Page Six, the 56-year-old has had his release date pushed back due to several alleged violations of prison rules.

The exact reason for his release date has not been publicly disclosed, however, the 'I'll Be Missing You' singer is now said to be facing a release date of June 2028.

LADbible Group has approached representatives for Combs for comment.

What is Diddy's life like in prison?

The Bad Boy Records founder is serving the remainder of his sentence New Jersey's Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute after being moved there from the notorious Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn.

Fort Dix is categorised as a low-security facility for men and holds just over 4,000 inmates.

The report follows claims circulating online which alleged Combs had been in trouble for creating and consuming 'homemade alcohol'.

However, this claim has since been debunked by the Combs family, who issued the following statement on social media: "The rumours claiming Mr. Combs was caught with alcohol are completely false. His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family."

Meanwhile, CBS reported that Combs had also been in trouble for taking part in a three-way phone call just days after being moved from Brooklyn Detention Centre to Fort Dix.

The update also revealed that Combs had begun work inside the prison chapel, as the chaplain's assistant, a job which is said to be one of the most sought after at the facility.

"He works in the chapel library, where he describes the environment as warm, respectful, and rewarding," Combs' representative Juda Engelmayer told the outlet.

Engelmayer also commented on the alleged three-way call violation, adding: "It was a procedural call initiated by one of his attorneys and was protected under attorney client privilege. There was nothing improper."

Combs is also undertaking a drug rehabilitation programme, with Engelmayer adding that Combs was 'adjusting, working on himself and doing better each day'.
