The widow of Charlie Kirk has been inundated with prayers after she tweeted a Bible verse on social media just hours before her husband's shooting.
Whilst speaking at Utah Valley University yesterday (10 September), Kirk was fatally shot, while 3,000 attendees witnessed the horrific scene when the shot was fired, seemingly striking the 31-year-old in the neck.
The media personality had been at the university as part of his 'The American Come Back Tour', where he was scheduled to make appearances at numerous colleges across the US.
President Donald Trump later confirmed his death on his social media platform, Truth Social.

Officials believe the shot was fired from the roof of a nearby building, and two people were arrested but later released. An investigation into locating the suspected shooter is also actively underway.
Krirk is survived by his wife, Erika, whom he married in 2021, and their two children.
Earlier in the day, the businesswoman, who is a former Miss Arizona, quoted a verse from the Bible about seeking help in moments of difficulty.
"Psalm 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble," her tweet read. Erika Kirk has yet to comment publicly on her husband's passing, however.

Following Kirk's shooting, she was sent prayers and condolences on social media, as one person wrote: "Your husband is with Jesus. He was a hero and an inspiration. You will see him again, although I know that is no consolation to you and your precious babies right now.
"I'm so sorry that you are going through this. Evil is rampant in this country."
Another said that the 'Christians of this nation are praying for you and your family', while a third commented: "We are praying."
In his Truth Social post, Trump called Kirk 'great' and 'even Legendary', writing: "No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.

"He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!"
He later posted another message regarding Kirk's death, adding that he was 'filled with grief and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk'.
Other tributes came from Vice President JD Vance, who said: "Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord."
Meanwhile, Trump's predecessor, Joe Biden, said: "There is no place in our country for this kind of violence. It must end now. Jill and I are praying for Charlie Kirk’s family and loved ones."
