Couple spark mass confusion after admitting they switch bed sides every night

The TikToker wanted to know if her followers thought it was 'as crazy as people say it is'

A DIY TikToker has sparked controversy - not with an offbeat colour scheme or 'Live Laugh Love' decals - but by admitting she and her husband switch the side of the bed they sleep on every night.

While many of us put up with our partners weird habits over the course of a relationship - it seems this crossed the line for some of Angelina and Skylr's followers (@renovatingourhome), with one saying they were shocked the pair 'found each other'.

The TikTok that started all the controversy.

And while the pair tied the knot in April, it's far from the honeymoon period as they've been in a relationship for nearly 11 years and 'just never picked a side of the bed.'

The controversial TikTok has already reached 1M views since it was posted six days ago.

Angelina opens by speaking to the camera as she sits on her bed.

"We do not have a regular side of the bed that we sleep on," she admitted

She continued: "Last night I slept on that side and then the night before - for like two or three nights in a row - I slept on this side.

"It's never discussed we just randomly pick a side when we go to sleep and whenever this has come up in conversation people act like that is the craziest thing they've ever heard."

Asking in the caption: "Okay I really need to know if we're alone in this - do you randomly pock which side of the bed you are going to sleep on or do you sleep on the same side every single night?"

Her loyal followers did not disappoint with their responses.

"I'm single and I have a side of the bed," quipped one.

Another couldn't believe this worked out: "I think I'm even more surprised that you found each other and are both okay with this."

Others were, however, trying to understand the logistics: "What about the nightstands? Like you just have your stuff willy nilly everywhere?"

A follow-up TikTok set this and a few other things straight, as she explained there was 'barely anything' in the nightstands and they thankfully use the same type of phone charger.

She reassured them: "No matter which side we choose to sleep on we have everything we need."

Still not quite convinced, another follower joked: "I hope you both get the help you need."

Seems a lot of us like our bedtime routine to be predictable, as Angelina has lost around 500 followers since her admission.

Angelina reflected: "I didn't realize it was so controversial."

Neither did we, Angelina.
