Donald Trump has offered to provide 'a list' of Jeffrey Epstein's associates amid the ongoing debate around the existence of a catalogue of the financier's so-called 'clients.'
The US President is at the centre of the controversy surrounding the alleged company which the disgraced businessman kept.
Before getting his feet back under the table in the White House, Trump had pledged to declassify the files surrounding the case to put a stop to the shroud of secrecy.
In September last year during a podcast with Lex Fridman, the President remarked that he found it 'very strange' that the 'list of clients that went to the island has not been made public.'

He said, as per ABC News: "It's very interesting, isn't it? It probably will be, by the way, probably. I'd certainly take a look at it...I'd be inclined to do the Epstein. I'd have no problem with it."
Since then, Elon Musk has accused Trump of being named in the alleged list himself and claimed that this is the reason why it has never seen the light of day.
The FBI and Department Of Justice then announced there was no evidence to suggest Epstein owned a ‘client list’ that he wielded for blackmailing purposes - even though US Attorney General Pam Bondi said it was 'sat on her desk' months ago.

A media frenzy obviously ensued, and although Trump has been desperately trying to change the subject, people aren't letting him sweep this bizarre saga under the rug.

During a Cabinet meeting at the start of the month, the President told a reporter who asked him a question about Epstein: "Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy's been talked about for years!"
He then accused his political rivals of pedalling the discussion about his relationship with the financier after it was alleged that he penned a disturbing letter to his pal.
South Park have had a field day with all this drama and dedicated the first episode of the 27th season of the show to the continuing controversy - while throwing in numerous jokes about the size of Trump's genitalia.
And seen as though his pleas to drop any discussion surrounding Epstein have fallen on deaf ears, Trump has now vowed to give the people what they want...well, sort of.
As he left the White House to head to Scotland on Friday (25 July) morning - the same day which Epstein's accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell was interviewed by the Justice Department - he told reporters: "I'll give you a list."

When asked about his connections with Epstein once again, Trump responded: "I have nothing to do with the guy.
"You should focus on [Bill] Clinton. You should focus on the president of Harvard, the former president of Harvard, you should focus on some of the hedge fund guys. I’ll give you a list.
"These guys lived with Jeffrey Epstein, I sure as hell didn’t."
Trump pointed fingers at former president Bill Clinton as well as ex-Harvard President Larry Summers, both of whom he claimed were 'really close friends' with Epstein.

Just like Trump, the pair were quite pally with the businessman, who killed himself while awaiting trial in 2019.
Both Clinton and Summers deny having any knowledge of any of Epstein's crimes, while a spokesperson for Summers previously told The Wall Street Journal that he 'deeply regrets being in contact with Epstein after his conviction.'
LADbible has contacted representatives for Clinton and Summers for comment.
