Democratic politicians in the US have released an alleged birthday note, which they claim was written by Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein.
The US president and the convicted sex offender have quite a history together, with Trump having previously described Epstein as a 'terrific guy' who was 'a lot of fun to be with' and that he 'likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side'.
Epstein said he had a 'personal relationship' with Trump and told investigators that he'd 'socialised with him', but refused to answer the question of whether he'd ever 'socialised with Donald Trump in the presence of females under the age of 18'.
Trump said he later had a falling out with Epstein, claiming that he cut ties with him in 2004 after Epstein 'stole people' who worked for him.

However, a point of alleged connection between them, which Trump denies, is a claimed birthday note he is accused of writing to Epstein in 2003.

The Democrats, Trump's political opponents, have just released the alleged note, which they claim was written by Trump as part of a claimed 'birthday book'.
The note is filled with text that appears to depict an exchange between Trump and Epstein that ends with a final line allegedly from the president saying: "A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday - and may every day be another wonderful secret."
Also over the entry is a crude drawing of what appears to be a woman's body, and there's a distinctive signature at the bottom which supposedly bears some resemblance to Trump's infamous scrawl.

However, the 79-year-old has insisted that the message to Epstein did not come from him, and when the Wall Street Journal reported on it earlier this year, he launched a lawsuit against the company's owners.
Trump said: "This is not me. This is a fake thing. It's a fake Wall Street Journal story. I never wrote a picture in my life. I don't draw pictures of women. It's not my language. It's not my words."

His attorneys claimed in the lawsuit that 'no authentic letter or drawing exists'.
Other messages to Epstein released as part of this alleged 'birthday book' include one from former US President Bill Clinton, who wrote of Epstein's 'childlike curiosity', and one from British politician Peter Mandelson, who called Epstein 'my best pal'.

A spokesperson for Lord Mandelson told the BBC that he had long been clear about his regret of having been introduced to Epstein. Meanwhile, a representative of Clinton has previously acknowledged that the former president was acquainted with the financier at the time, but he knew nothing of his crimes.
While arguments over the authenticity of the alleged note go on, victims of Jeffrey Epstein have announced they are compiling their own 'client list', given the failure of the investigation into the sex offender to produce such a thing.
LADbible has contacted the White House and the Clinton Foundation for comment.
