Donald Trump has responded to recently resurfaced image of himself stood next to Jeffrey Epstein – and he's not very happy.
The 79-year-old's second run as President of the United States has been plagued with questions about the Epstein case, after doing a U-turn on a promise to release his 'client list' - said to include names of prominent individuals linked to the disgraced financier - earlier this month.
According to a recently released memo from the FBI, a 'client list' never existed in the first place, a claim which appears to contradict previous statements made by United States Attorney General Pam Bondi.
President Trump has since sought to shut down any further questions about Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019, going as far as shutting down reporters who broached the topic at press conferences.

"We have Texas, we have this, we have all of the things that... and are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable," Trump told a reporter who asked Bondi to clarify her comments.
"I can't believe you're asking a question on Epstein at a time like this."
Unfortunately for Trump, the story is showing no signs of going away as he was questioned again about recently resurfaced footage of himself and Epstein.
In the new images, published exclusively by CNN, Epstein is pictured attending Trump's 1993 wedding to Marla Maples, an event which he was previously not known to have attended. Another image shared by the outlet shows Trump and Epstein talking in conversation at an event in New York that same year, with the president's daughter Ivanka seen stood next to her father.

The news outlet also published a video understood to be from 1999, which shows Trump and Epstein talking to each other at a Victoria's Secret fashion show.
Both images and the footage occurred several years before Epstein first faced charges of child sex offences in 2005.
Unsurprisingly, Trump was not amused to see the images circulating and had a brisk response when asked about them by CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski.
"You’ve got to be kidding me," was the Republican leader's only comment, before calling the outlet 'fake news' and hanging up.

A spokesperson for the White House would issued a longer statement regarding the photos, calling them 'out-of-context' and 'innocuous'.
"These are nothing more than out-of-context frame grabs of innocuous videos and pictures of widely attended events to disgustingly infer something nefarious," the statement read.

"The fact is that the president kicked him out of his club for being a creep.
"This is nothing more than a continuation of the fake news stories concocted by the Democrats and the liberal media."
