A new report has claimed that tech mogul Elon Musk once got physical with a member of the Trump administration.
The Tesla CEO has been in the news non-stop recently, following his online spat with old pal, President Donald Trump.
Musk announced that he was stepping down from his role in government as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) just last week, and has wasted no time in falling out with the 47th US President.

Not agreeing with the policies in Trump's new 'Big Beautiful Bill', Musk branded it as the 'Big Ugly Spending Bill', and voiced his displeasure online.
The 53-year-old then took to X to make an outlandish claim, stating that Trump was in the infamous Epstein files.
These unsealed documents were part of a lawsuit filed against Jeffrey Epstein's ex-partner Ghislaine Maxwell in 2015 by one of the sex offender's victims, the late Virginia Giuffre.

The White House has since responded to the SpaceX CEO's claims against the President, as Musk had posted on X: “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.

“Have a nice day, DJT!”
Epstein's defence lawyer has since released a statement rubbishing these claims, though the controversy goes beyond the post.
The tech billionaire has since taken the Epstein claim down, despite the President admitting that their relationship is 'over'.
But now, a new report has surfaced, as reported by the Washington Post, claiming that Musk body-checked the Treasury Secretary of the Trump Administration, Scott Bessent.
The claims were made by former White House official Steven Bannon, who said that the physical altercation happened after Bessent called Musk a fraud.

Bannon claimed that this was the beginning of the end of the Tesla boss' relationship with Trump, as it took place in mid-April following both men making pitches for the Internal Revenue Service to the President in the Oval Office.
Trump went for Bessent's idea, as Bannon told the publication: “Scott said, 'You’re a fraud. You’re a total fraud,'” with the pair hurling insults back and forth.
Words turned into actions, with Musk apparently ramming his shoulder into the Treasury Secretary's rib cage 'like a rugby player', with Bessent fighting back.

The former official said several people had to come between them to break it up, adding: “President Trump heard about it and said, ‘This is too much,'” as Musk was removed from the West Wing.
