Footage of Jeffrey Epstein's accomplice Ghislane Maxwell behind bars has been released as part of the Epstein files.
The former associate of the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is currently in prison for her role in his heinous crimes. She helped groom and traffic underage girls for the disgraced financier, and was convicted in 2021 of five of six federal charges, including sex trafficking of a minor, conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, and conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.
Maxwell, who was sentenced to 20 years in the US, has been named several times in the infamous 'Epstein files', which have been released in batches over the past few weeks by the Department of Justice.
Among the thousands of videos and pictures is a ten-hour clip of Maxwell in her prison cell.

The Brit can be seen pacing around her cell in the video, which was released among three million-or-so documents in the latest Epstein files trove.
The public has now been given an insight into Maxwell's life at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where she was held following her arrest at her New Hampshire home in 2020.
Dated July 2020, the convict can be seen dressed in an orange tracksuit and trainers, not doing too much as she passes time in her cell. Take a look:
Lying down for long periods of time, she can also be seen reading a book.
At the time this footage was taken, Maxwell was being held following her arrest and was awaiting a decision on her bail application.
She would eventually be sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022.
Maxwell has not been quiet since being put behind bars, though, having made numerous attempts to secure a retrial in the past couple of years, all of which have been denied.

Epstein, who took his own life in 2019, never went to trial for his crimes as he was found dead in his jail cell.
Maxwell's move was made in a bid to have her conviction overturned, having filed a lengthy habeas corpus petition explaining why she deserves to be released.
The biggest allegation was about Epstein's 'accomplices', who she claims dodged court cases due to a number of shady reasons.
The 64-year-old said that these people made 'secret settlements' via their lawyers to avoid prosecution.
While she didn't mention the names of the people she referred to, Maxwell said that an additional four men were on the radar of investigators, though they were never punished.

Having filed it back in December 2025, it read: "None of the four named co-conspirators or the 25 men with secret settlements were indicted.
"New evidence reveals that there were 25 men with which the plaintiff lawyers reached secret settlements - that could equally be considered as co-conspirators,' the legal document states.
"None of these men have been prosecuted and none has been revealed to Petitioner; she would have called them as witnesses had she known."
Maxwell is set to remain behind bars at a minimum-security prison in Texas called FPC Bryan until at least 2037.
