GTA 6's rumoured Lucia actress refused to answer Donald Trump question, theory explains why

A woman believed to be the actor who voices Lucia in GTA 6 did not answer questions about Donald Trump while being stopped in the street, with some speculating as to the reason.

A clip was shared online showing the woman declining to be interviewed when she was asked how Donald Trump is doing as president.

Looking nervous, she replied that 'it's probably best I don't', before walking away from the interview.

The video was posted by content creator Adam Francisco, whose profile description says that he shares 'political street comedy' and 'entertainment', as well as showing his support for US president Donald Trump, and who shared the short clip to his Instagram page.

After the video was posted, many people took to the comments claiming that the woman was actor Manni Perez, though her identity was not confirmed.

Perez is rumoured to be the actor who plays the character of Lucia in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game.

If this is the case and the woman in the video is her, then this could offer some reason why she was not keen to be interviewed, aside from the explanation that she simply didn't want to talk to a stranger in the street about her political opinions while being filmed.

It's likely that any actors who have been cast in the upcoming game have had to sign non-disclosure agreements, which can sometimes include clauses about not being interviewed or commenting publicly prior to the game's release.

This is a way to prevent clues and spoilers about the game from being accidentally leaked ahead of time.

Not only that, but the internet being the internet people frequently run into a lot of unpleasantness after sharing a political opinion, and this is something that many people may prefer to avoid where possible.

While it has not been officially confirmed whether Perez is playing the character, she is rumoured to be taking on the role.

The actor, who has had roles in Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Dora, and Fire Island, had previously deactivated her Instagram account due to the sheer volume of messages and comments she was receiving about the game.

She then returned to the platform on 1 September, writing in a post: "I’m back ya’ll. My hip stretch marks, 1 month old gel pedicure and bikini line razor bump thank you!

"Thank you for reporting those fake imposter AI accounts! I appreciate ya’ll."

It wouldn't be a Grand Theft Auto game without some controversy around the content, with content creator @diaryofasalesgirl taking to TikTok to declare that she would not let her boyfriend play the game due to an optional in-game relationship mechanic.

"In absolutely no human way is my fiancé playing GTA 6 after I just saw that you literally have to maintain a relationship with a girl in the video game and text her and she'll get mad if you don't text her back, and you have to take her on dates," she said.

After a wait of some 13 years since 2013's Grant Theft Auto V, Rockstar confirmed that GTA 6 will be released on 19 November.

Despite its name GTA 6 will actually be the eighth game in the series due to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
