A peculiar document has emerged seemingly confirming the death of Jeffrey Epstein before it officially happened.

The disgraced financier has long been a subject of interest for the public, with the infamous 'Epstein files' long being kept under wraps.

But in the past few months, the US Department of Justice has been releasing several documents, emails and images from these files for the public to access for the very first time.

Over three million documents were released in the latest trove at the end of January, revealing photos of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor above a woman on the floor, among other shocking revelations and President Donald Trump being mentioned hundreds of times.

While some of them were somewhat unexpected like Epstein being banned from Xbox Live for inappropriate conduct, more serious documents suggested that he had relationships with powerful political figures, such as Peter Mandelson.

But one document has caused many to stop in their tracks.

While many big names have been mentioned in the files, it's a document about the convicted child sex offender, serial rapist and human trafficker, that has caught many off guard.

A statement from Manhattan US Attorney’s office seems to confirm the death of Epstein before it happened, with the document dated to 9 August 2019, while the paedophile was found hanging in his cell at 6.30am on 10 August. Epstein was not checked on between the hours of 22:40 on 9 August until the time he was found at around 6:40 am on 10 August, according to the 'Investigation and Review of the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ Custody, Care, and Supervision of Jeffrey Epstein' - which also doesn't reveal an exact time of death.

The convict was being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan ahead of a trial for conspiracy and sex trafficking.

While his will was revealed for the first time where his fortune was intended to go, the date of this document has left many scratching their heads.

Epstein, who was not on suicide watch at the time, has a US Attorney’s statement dated 9 August in the files, with subtle differences being found between this and the one dated 10 August.

However, none of them contain the information that Epstein was found dead after an 'apparent suicide', as the official public statement at the time detailed.

It instead said that he was 'found unresponsive in his cell and pronounced dead shortly thereafter', though like the original statement, these pay tribute to the 'brave young women' who have come out against him.

The official account of Epstein's death says that correction officers Michael Thomas was the one who found him hanging unresponsive on the morning of Saturday 10 August, as he and his colleague Tova Noel were delivering breakfast, with many conspiracy theorists still suggesting that he did not take his own life.

After he was discovered, medical staff tried to revive him, with images of Epstein's body with defibrillator pads attached among images in the files.

The New York City medical examiner ruled his death as suicide by hanging.

A 'missing minute' of footage from prison CCTV at the time caused more controversy back in 2019, though this would be released as part of a September Epstein files drop.

This didn't contain anything out of the ordinary, though some noticed that a blurry orange shape was moving towards his cell on the night of 9 August.

"A flash of orange looks to be going up the L Tier stairs - could possibly be an inmate escorted up to that Tier," FBI analysts claimed.
