Footage showing inside the prison cell of Jeffrey Epstein has been released by the Department of Justice.
Yesterday saw the US Department of Justice (DoJ) release over three million more files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, following last November's Transparency Act.
The latest batch of documents have been pretty explosive, including an email from Epstein alleging that Microsoft founder Bill Gates caught an STI from Russian girls, email exchanges between Epstein and Elon Musk discussing wild parties on his private island Little Saint James and images of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor kneeling over an unidentified woman.
Gates, Mountbatten-Windsor and Musk have all previously denied any wrongdoing and being named in the files does not indicate an awareness of Epstein's crimes.

The documents also included footage taken from inside Epstein's New York prison cell where he would ultimately take his life on 10 August, 2019.
The clip shows a modest cell with a bunk bed, sink, toilet and what appears to be an additional seat, which is understood to be a part of the 'special housing unit' inside the prison, were inmates are placed in solitary confinement.
Elsewhere in the newly-released documents, there is also a witness statement from an unnamed 'captain' working at New York's Metropolitan Correctional Centre (MCC) in 2019.
The document details how Epstein was moved in and out of solitary confinement due to being placed on and off suicide watch and his cell preferences. It's noted that Epstein 'preferred not to have a cellmate' and even 'engaged in manipulative behaviour to avoid having one, including requesting to see a psychologist'.
They recalled an incident from 23 July 2019 in which Epstein appeared to unresponsive on the floor of his cell with a 'homemade piece of fabric on his chest'. The statement goes on add that the 66-year-old may have been faking consciousness as he was 'opening his eyes and making other suspicious movements not consistent with an unconscious state'.
They added that Epstein later tried to claim that his cellmate had attempted to take his life.

The document also includes the housing recommendations for Epstein, with the unnamed individual suggesting the disgraced financier should not be housed alone, receive '30 minute checks' and 'unannounced rounds'.
However it's noted that on the day of Epstein's suicide that staff admitted to not completing rounds of the cells between 03:00 and 05:00.
Claims made in the document follow conspiracy theories regarding the nature of Epstein's death, which saw the FBI previously release over 10 hours of footage from outside the cell between 9 and 10 August in order to prove that no one had gained access to Epstein at the time of his death.
