Mark Zuckerberg's huge McDonald's order as he eats 4,000 calories a day

Mark Zuckerberg may be up for fighting Elon Musk, and he might be fuelled by McDonald's when he does

Mark Zuckerberg has revealed that he eats a massive amount of food from McDonald’s whilst he’s in training, consuming a whopping 4,000 calories per day.

Of course, if you’re in training, it’s fairly normal to eat a diet that is high in energy and protein, and if the big Zuck vs Musk MMA fight is ever going to go ahead, both brawling billionaires are going to have to be fighting fit.

The Meta boss opened up on his current training diet over on his new platform Threads, which is quite similar – but not exactly the same as – Twitter or X or whatever we’re supposed to be calling it these days.

Under a post asking what everyone’s go-to Maccies order is, Zuck responded: “20 nuggets, a quarter pounder, large fries, Oreo McFlurry, apple pie, and maybe some side cheeseburgers for later?”

That’s a lot, but it seems as if the 39-year-old is able to justify it because of how hard he is training and attempting to gain muscle mass.

UFC fighter, Mike Davis, was quick to get involved, messaging: “You’re in camp! No McDonald’s.”

Zuckerberg then hit back: “Not cutting weight so I need ~4000 calories a day to offset all the activity. And it’s so delicious…”

He’s got him there, to be fair.

Zuckerberg recently revealed that he’s in the middle of a huge training period, and is doing three or four jujitsu and MMA sessions each week, as well as doing workouts that focus on mobility, strength, and conditioning.

He’s going at it hard, then.

It’s no surprise that he can work up a bit of a hunger doing all of that exercise.

Of course, for real people everything is all about moderation, meaning that eating McDonald’s every now and again is no problem, same with everything else, but eating loads of anything all the time might not be the best.

That’s why it’s called a balanced diet, after all.

As for his fight with Twitter/X boss Musk, that all came about in June after the South-African wealth-monger tweeted that he’d be ‘up for a cage fight’ with Zuckerberg, who responded simply: “Send me location.”

Zuckerberg has certainly been training with some good partners, sharing a picture looking ripped last month with UFC fighters Alex Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya.

“No fugazi with Mark. This is serious business,” Adesanya said.

Musk has been getting UFC fighters involved as well, training with Georges St-Pierre as well as podcaster and MMA trainer Lex Friedman, who has also been working with Zuck.

Whether it ever translates into a real fight is anybody’s guess, but there’s no doubt that it would draw a crowd if it ever happened, even if it wasn’t the greatest fight in the world.

Nothing is out of the question with these guys, though.
