As you can imagine, Nicki Minaj instantly regretted making a joke about an 'assassin' to Erika Kirk’s face in painful footage.
The acclaimed rapper, known for hits like 'Starships' and 'Super Bass', surprised hip-hop fans after taking a public stance on politics last month following allegations of religious violence taking place in Nigeria.
"I would like to thank President Trump for prioritising this issue and his leadership on the global stage in calling for urgent action to defend Christians in Nigeria and to combat extremism and to bring a stop to violence against those who simply want to express their natural right to freedom of religion or belief," she said during an event at the United Nations headquarters on 18 November.
Since her public backing of the Republican party, Minaj has become more vocal about her views, and appeared at a Turning Point USA convention over the weekend.

Alongside the new Turning Point CEO and the widow of Charlie Kirk, Minaj was talking about 'role models' in politics and accidentally let her tongue slip.
Watch below:
Minaj told the crowd: "Dear young men, you have amazing role models, like our handsome, dashing president. And you have amazing role models like the assassin, JD Vance, our vice-president."
The singer took barely a second to realise what she had just said in light of Erika's husband being shot dead at a college event on 10 September.
Suspect Tyler Robinson, 22, has been charged with his murder and has not yet entered a plea.

At the event, meanwhile, Erika took Minaj's comment for what it was - a mistake - telling her: "Trust me, there's nothing new under the sun that I have not heard."
"I love you," she replied, as the Turning Point boss said: "Trust me, there is nothing new under the sun that I have not heard. I love you. You have to laugh about it, truly.
"I have been called every single thing. And you know what, God is so good, you let it roll right off your back. And this is what's so beautiful about this moment.
"Because if the internet wants to clip it, who cares? I love this woman; she is an amazing woman. She has a soul and a heart for the Lord."

Of her decision to support Trump, Minaj insisted that she 'just got tired of being pushed around'.
"I have something inside of me that’s stronger than what’s out there," the 'Super Freaky Girl' hitmaker said.
"So when you’ve had enough, you realise, 'Wait a minute, why do I even care about these people and what they think? Who are they?'
"They don’t even know who they are. So I’m not going to back down anymore. I’m not going to back down ever again."
