Erika Kirk has revealed what JD Vance whispered to her during their ‘inappropriate’ hug.
A moment between the pair recently went viral when it was suggested by some that their interaction was ‘super intimate’.
Having taken on her late husband, Charlie Kirk’s organisation Turning Point USA, following his death, Erika introduced the US vice president to a crowd at the University of Mississippi at the end of October.
One of the first major events since the right wing political ‘activist’ was shot and killed, Vance honoured Kirk as he said he ‘had the very best advice’.

It was when Erika welcomed the VP to the stage that they shared this notorious hug, with her hand on the back of his head.
And while lip readers have tried to decipher just what was whispered, the former pageant queen has had her say.

When Erika welcomed Vance to the stage, she called him a ‘very, very dear friend’ as she told the crowd that ‘no one will ever replace my husband, but I do see some similarities in JD’.
Some have suggested the VP was ‘into’ the hug, while there seems to have a divide over what their closeness meant.

But speaking during a live, on-stage interview for The Megyn Kelly Show, Erika slammed the uproar over the moment.
“Forgive me, did you see people didn’t understand the hug that you and JD had?” the host said with a laugh. “They went to the weirdest places Erika.”
Also laughing, Erika responded: “Oh my gosh, please.”
The pair agreed that anyone who knows her knows she’s a ‘hugger’ as she added: “Whoever is hating on a hug needs a hug themselves – I will give you a free hug, anytime you want a hug.”
Erika then gave a ‘play-by-play’, as she explained it happened as they’d ‘just played the emotional video’.

“I'm walking over, he's walking over, I'm starting to cry,” she continued as she said that Vance told her: “He’s so proud of you.”
Erika added: “And I say, ‘God bless you’, and I touch the back of his head. Anyone who I’ve hugged, that I’ve touched the back of your head when I hug you – I always say ‘God bless you’.”
As she explained ‘that’s just me’, she said: “If you want to take that out of context, go right ahead - again, that to me shows that you need a hug more than anyone else.”
Erika also joked that she feels like she ‘wouldn’t get as much hate’ if she had touched the back of Vance’s bum.
