Parents of three-year-old who claims he died in 9/11 discover eerie connection to tragedy
An American mother has been left feeling 'helpless' after her son's disturbing 'past memories' about the 9/11 disaster.
It will be 25 years since the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center next week and while we're still learning new things about what happened in New York that day, we never thought it would be possible to speak with any of the near 3000 people who sadly lost their lives on that fateful day.
Cade Wilson was just three when he started waking up in the middle of the night and talking about an office that he worked in, with the toddler's testament certainly not the only example in history of children remembering details from their 'former lives'.
His mother Molly Curnutte later talked about her son's experiences on LMN's The Ghost Inside My Child, a programme about children who claim to have memories or experiences connected to past lives.

She recalled: “I would be in bed and Cade would just start crying in the middle of the night and he would wake up screaming about working in a tall building and he could see the Statue of Liberty from his office".
"He just flat out said that he was in a building that was hit by something, that it exploded, and that he had fallen. The pieces suddenly came together like a puzzle, the planes, the tall buildings. This person was at the World Trade Center."
His parents initially just thought that Cade had a 'vivid imagination' but as he grew up, his memories only grew stronger, and he also developed a frantic fear of both aeroplanes and tall buildings.
And soon he was able to go in to more detail about exactly what have happened to him in a former life.
Molly added: "He just flat out said that he was in a building that was hit by something, that it exploded, and that he had fallen. The pieces suddenly came together like a puzzle, the planes, the tall buildings. This person was at the World Trade Center."
The young boy reportedly said: “The plane hit the World Trade Center then it got stuck in the building. When I was falling, I was still alive and then all the rubble hit me. I didn’t feel anything because I died."
Although he hasn't really gone into specifics, other than revealing his old name, his parents claimed that they investigated further and found another man who died in the 9/11 attack that matched Cade's description, but they didn't contact that person's family as they didn't want to interfere with their grief.
Cade even told his parents that his name isn't really Cade, which naturally is heartbreaking for them as they just want their child to grow up as any other child would.
"As a mother, I am feeling very helpless. I can’t make this memory go away. I don’t know how to fix this. I need him to learn to be Cade, to learn to be a kid again, learn to laugh and I think we’re going to get there, I do," Molly concluded.
