One of the questions in life that we may never be able to answer is what happens when we die.
But one young boy in India seemed to present an excellent case for the philosophical and religious belief of reincarnation, after he claimed to be a man who had been murdered shortly before he was born.
Although years of experience has allowed us to learn when someone might be close to death, and the things that can happen in our final moments, there are also tragic instances such as that of Suresh Verma, a shop owner who was killed in 1983.
Several months later, little Titu Singh was welcomed into the world but pretty much as soon as he could talk, he allegedly started to remember things from his old life.

In a viral TikTok video, creator Tom Carty shared some more details about the baffling case of Titu, who even shared a birthmark on his head around the area that Verma was shot and killed.
Carty said: “He would tell his mom and dad loads of stories about how he had a wife and two kids, and they owned a radio cassette shop.
“Sure enough, when the parents brought the boy to the radio cassette shop back then, guess who was there? His wife. And he starts speaking to his wife and saying, ‘I know your name, and I know our two kids’ names,’ and going into mad detail.”
Some have claimed that Singh was even able to identify Verma's killers even at a young age, assisting police with their investigation, which does raise a lot of questions that can't really be answered by science, but there is little evidence for this claim.

Critics and sceptics might simply suggest that Singh had read about the case in the newspaper or heard his parents discussing it and claimed it as his own, especially since his father was supposedly a regular visitor to Agra.
However, the birth mark would be a very big coincidence and the family certainly seem to suggest that he was talking about this from a very young age, and he continues to claim that he used to be Suresh today, which emphasises that this wasn't just a strange childhood fantasy.

Back in 2024, he did one of his first ever interviews as an adult, where he suggests that he remembers pretty much everything about his 'past life', which is impressive considering most can't even remember what happened in their own lives last week.
He suggests that he knows exactly what he was doing with his wife the day before he was killed, and even insists that as a child he was confused about his parents because he didn't believe they were his mother and father.
Singh isn't the only person in history to suggest that he was reincarnated, as there was also the curious case of Nicola Wheater, who claimed to be a five-year-old boy who was killed by a train 100 years earlier.
Another young fellow went down the more glamorous route, as he claimed to be a Hollywood star from 60 years before he was born, which suggests that he probably knew far too many things that he shouldn't, considering he was just five at the time.
