A body language expert has revealed how President Donald Trump really feels about his heated meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The two world leaders sat down with US Vice President JD Vance in The White House's Oval Office on Friday (28 February), where they discussed a minerals deal as well as Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

But the meeting became incredibly tense, with Trump telling Zelenskyy that he was 'gambling with World War III'.

In the end, Zelenskyy's visit was cut short, with a scheduled press conference cancelled.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian leader was seen leaving The White House earlier than planned.

Since the meeting aired around the world on Friday, Zelenskyy, Trump and even Russia have commented on what happened and the reasons why the meeting escalated so dramatically.

While Trump shared a statement on Truth Social, explaining Zelenskyy could 'come back when he's ready for peace' an expert has since explained how the US president feels about the very public fallout, based on his body language.

Inbaal Honigman, celebrity psychic and body language expert explained that some of Trump's gestures indicated that he 'did not enjoy the confrontation' between the leaders.

Speaking to LADbible on behalf of Oddspedia, Inbaal claims: "Trump does not seem to enjoy the confrontation, as he turns his head away from the Ukrainian leader completely.

"This shows disengagement and a lack of receptiveness to what is being said."

However, Inbaal explained that during Vance's argument with Zelenskyy - in which he asks the vice president if he had ever visited Ukraine - Trump's body language is 'consistently diplomatic'.

"It is Donald Trump whose body language is consistently diplomatic. His hands are formed into a diamond shape... This move, of the thumbs meeting in a steeple at the top, and the rest of the fingers meeting below in a diamond shape, is a gesture of acceptance, of a bridging of differences."

While the meeting saw the leaders talking over each other at times, Inbaal explained that when they managed to maintain proper eye contact, there was an interesting change in their body language, which could prove to be extremely positive.

"Interestingly, when Trump and Zelensky exchange words, and maintain eye contact, they start to mirror each other’s moves, which means that despite the hard-nosed exchange, the two men can find a middle ground, maybe in a future meeting," she explained.

President Zelenskyy has since shared a lengthy statement on X, where he explained that Trump's support was 'crucial' to Ukraine.

"We are very grateful to the United States for all the support. I'm thankful to President Trump, Congress for their bipartisan support, and American people," he said.

"Ukrainians have always appreciated this support, especially during these three years of full-scale invasion. America's help has been vital in helping us survive, and I want to acknowledge that.

"Despite the tough dialogue, we remain strategic partners.

"But we need to be honest and direct with each other to truly understand our shared goals. It's crucial for us to have President Trump's support. He wants to end the war, but no one wants peace more than we do.

"We are the ones living this war in Ukraine. It's a fight for our freedom, for our very survival."
