Text messages sent between Diddy and his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura detailing preparations for an alleged 'freak off' have been shared with a jury.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs is currently on trial in New York over charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution — all of which he has denied.

Currently giving testimony is Cassie Ventura, Combs' former partner of 11 years, with her time on the stand well into its second day.
Ventura has so far addressed CCTV footage taken from Los Angeles InterContinental Hotel in 2016, which captured the 55-year-old hip-hop producer physically assaulting her, as well as details of their relationship and the rapper's infamous 'freak off' parties.
Ventura is currently being cross-examined by Combs' defence team, which has seen text messages exchanged between the pair read aloud to the jury — which included references to the alleged 'freak offs'.

Text message exchanges between Diddy and Cassie
In one exchange dating to 2017, Combs messaged Ventura to let her know he was making arrangements for a 'freak off', which included a 'surprise package' arriving from 'out of state'.

Sharing the exchange with the jury, defence attorney Anna Estevao stated that messages from Combs included references to the out of state package as well as questioning whether or not Ventura wanted to go ahead with the meeting (via CNN).
The messages read in full to the jury are as follows:
- "Didn’t hear from you so I just put some plans in motion let me know to stop."
- "Surprise package coming from out of state."
- "Just let me know if I’m headed in wrong direction so I can cancel."

'Freak offs' became a job
Further exchanges between the pair included a 2017 message from the singer and dancer stating that she 'love our [freak offs] when we both want it'.

Responding to the text, Ventura testified: "I would say that loving ‘Freak Offs’ were just words at that point."
Earlier on in her testimony Ventura spoke about the impact that taking part in the rapper's 'freak off' parties had on her, revealing how the events would sometimes last for days and became 'like a job' to her.
Telling the jury she felt there was 'no space to do anything else', Ventura testified: "The longest one was four days, even more on and off including recovering, recovering from the drugs, dehydration.
"The 'freak offs' became a job, where there was no space to do anything else but to recover and just try to feel normal again."

What happened at Diddy's alleged 'freak offs'
According to the indictment against Combs, the alleged 'freak off' parties were 'elaborate and produced sex performances' which Combs 'arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded'.

The indictment continued: "Freak Offs occurred regularly, sometimes lasted multiple days, and often involved multiple commercial sex workers."
