Netflix users are comparing Bradley Cooper to Gordon Ramsay after watching one of the streaming giant's recent releases. Watch the trailer below:

If you've ever worked in a restaurant – particularly as a waiter – you know the chefs aren't to be messed with, as tensions rise as high as the temperatures do in the kitchen.

After Boiling Point – starring Line of Duty's Stephen Graham – took Netflix by storm, the streaming service has since released another cooking drama which has left viewers all saying the same thing.

Cooper starred in the 2015 movie.

Burnt, which first came out in 2015, depicts the life of a 'chef who destroyed his career through recklessness and bad behaviour' and his journey to London 'to redeem himself and regain his former glory'.

It stars the likes of Daniel Brühl and Sienna Miller, with Silver Linings Playbook's Bradley Cooper taking on the lead role of disgraced chef Adam Jones.

While the role of Jones isn't based on any one particular chef in particular, many viewers of the new Netflix hit are drawing comparisons between Cooper's performance and Hell's Kitchen star Gordon Ramsay.

Despite only receiving a score of 28 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, the film achieved a respectable 6.6 out of 10 on IMDb.

According to IMDB, Ramsay was one of many inspirations for Cooper.

Viewers of the 2015 film have also flooded to Twitter in praise of the show and, in particular, Cooper's acting and his character's similar traits to Ramsay.

"Just watched #Burnt on Netflix. Really, really good watch. Bradley Cooper has absolutely nailed it with the blend of a Marco Pierre-White and Gordon Ramsay vibe but this story and character is solid and strong in its own right," one user said.

Another wrote: "This movie’s amazing!I can’t believe I’ve never heard or seen it before. Gordon Ramsay himself is one of the film producers and I think Bradley Cooper channelled a bit of him into his character, and he slayed Burnt (2015). I give it three Michelin stars."

A third questioned: "So is burnt about @GordonRamsay? cause i love the man but damn Bradley Cooper is reminding me of an angry Gordon."

And it looks like viewers may have had a point, as according to IMDb: "World renowned chefs Gordon Ramsay, Marco Pierre White, Marcus Wareing, and Clare Smyth provided inspiration for Cooper's Adam Jones, though Cooper most closely emulates Ramsay's characteristic kitchen rants."

The American drama was written by Steven Knight and directed by John Wells and is currently available to watch on Netflix, Apple TV, Google Play and Prime Video Store.
