After the runaway success of last year's campaign, Aldi has announced that Kevin the Carrot is set to return for another Christmas.

For those who might not be aware, Kevin the Carrot a lovable vegetable who appeared in Aldi's festive advertising last year. In fact, he was such a hit that folks queued up to buy plush toys outside Aldi stores.

And they say that the true spirit of Christmas is dead...?

Well, this year, Kevin has a couple of mates with him as well. Aldi has introduced Tiny Tom and Russell Sprout.

You've guessed it, Tiny Tom is a tomato and Russell Sprout is - obviously - a sprout.

As for the advert itself, we see that Kevin has managed to get himself into something of a pickle after tangling with Russell and his street gang, The Leafy Blinders.

On top of the characters' return to our screens, the supermarket chain is also bringing back the unbelievably popular plush toys, too.

You might remember that last year the demand for Kevin the Carrot toys was so intense that they completely sold out after just one day on the shelves.

This year, Kevin is back again with some other plushy chums. The range will feature Ringmaster Kevin, his mate Katie, and the rest of Kevin's family - Chantenay, Jasper and Baby.

Obviously, you can get hold of newcomers Tiny Tom and Russell Sprout as well. All of the character toys are available for £3.99 ($5) each.

For those who wish to go above and beyond, there's also the option to buy a one metre tall Kevin toy, as well as a Giant Katie, and a massive unicorn too, for whatever reason, for £19.99 ($26) each.

If you just can't wait to get your hands on these carrot-based delights, then you can pre-order two exclusive plush toy bundles from 24 November. That's before they go on general sale on 28 November.

However, that 28 November date might involve a queue outside an Aldi store if last year is anything to go by.

Once you've got all of that down, if your desire for vegetable-themed stuff still hasn't been sated, there are also a full range of products available bearing the moniker and likeness of the beloved root vegetable.

Notebooks, pyjamas, wrapping paper, crackers, mugs, seriously, you name it, it is available to buy.

For the ultimate fan, there is even a gigantic inflatable snowglobe for either inside or outside your house for £49.99 ($65).

Imagine how impressed your neighbours would be by a gigantic inflatable carrot?
