An interstate in Nashville was in a bit of a mess on Wednesday (20 May) after a tractor-trailer overturned, spilling 40,000lbs of macaroni and cheese on the road.
Photographs and footage showed the huge vehicle lying on its side - the roof of the trailer was split open and a pile of dried pasta was on the road.

Another photo shows crews working to help clear the 'dry pasta'.
The Tennessee road was covered in the stuff, much to the delight of people on Twitter, who said that only in Nashville would the road be covered in mac n cheese.
One person commented: "In Cincinnati we periodically spill a tanker of lard, and have to get P&G to come clean it up with Dawn. Occasionally we live up to our soubriquet and pigs get loose on the highway. But never have we ever ruined 40,000lbs of mac and cheese. Oh Nashville."
Another got hungry just at the thought of it, tweeting: "Mac and cheese spill. We need to douse it with @Heinzketchup!"

A third commented: "A semi spilled 40,000lbs of Mac & Cheese in Nashville... who wants to go on a road trip? Bring your own fork."
Someone else was already in mourning, saying: "Please give us a moment to process this loss."
According to The Tennessean, the road was blocked from around 7.30am until it was reopened at about 1.30pm.
Accidents happen, and the driver was luckily completely unscathed.

A few months back, in what could well go down as the most Christmas-themed road traffic accident ever, a trailer full of Brussels sprouts tipped over and blocked the road.
Thousands of the little green vegetables spilled out all over a road in Rosyth, Fife, when the lorry driver slightly misjudged a roundabout.
Police warned drivers about potential delays in the area while they cleaned up the mess - they also warned that 'Christmas dinner may also be affected'.

Posting on Twitter, South West Fife Police said: "There's been a bit of a #BrusselSprouts accident at the roundabout at Admiralty Road, #Rosyth.
"Please avoid the area if possible. Traffic and #Christmas dinners may be affected. Apologies for any delays..."
Of course, the jokes came in thick and fast.
One Twitter user replied: "Was the lorry sprout of control at the time?"

Another posted: "It's what happens when you are forced to abandon Brussels..."
Someone else tweeted: "This isn't funny - have you any idea how many Christmas dinners have been made edible by this accident."
