Amber Heard shares rare insight into new life after changing name and moving to Spain

Amber Heard has given a rare glimpse into her new life in Spain in a series of posts shared on social media.

The actor moved across the world to Spain following the highly publicised defamation trial between her and her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

A US court award Depp awarded punitive and compensatory damages, though Heard would also be awarded compensatory damages after winning a counter claim.

She initially live on Mallorca, before moving to Madrid to settle, and has since been living a quiet life focussing on raising her daughters.

Heard has three daughters, five-year-old Oonagh, and twins Agnes and Ocean, who are both about a year old.

The Aquaman star rarely shares glimpses of her new life, but took to social media where she shared some posts from Spain.

In a post on her Instagram page, she shared a photo of herself after finishing a 10k race.

In the picture, she is celebrating after completing the course, smiling proudly in athletic gear after she ran the KLM Norte Sur in Madrid.

Heard captioned her post 'first race glow', also sharing a heart emoji and an emoji of the Spanish flag.

The actor also shared two pictures to her Instagram Stories in addition to the post.

One of them saw her embracing her daughter Oonagh after crossing the finish line for the 10k.

Over the top of the picture, the actor also wrote in a pink font on top: "Nothing beats this feeling."

Meanwhile, in the other picture she shared a selfie of herself smiling at the camera with her runner's number.

In the past, Heard has opened up about she likes to use running as a way to relieve stress.

Speaking to SHAPE back in 2018, she said: “I like running because it’s a way for me to alleviate stress, clear my mind, and refocus.

“Plus I can do it anywhere. I travel so much that it’s invaluable to me to have something that keeps me healthy and feeling good no matter where I am.”

Heard also opened up about finding a balance between pursuing a healthy lifestyle while not go so far as to make herself unhappy.

“If you’re not going to enjoy life, there’s no point in eating a certain way and working out and doing all the things actors do to manipulate how we look — and how the world looks at us,” she said.

“When I’m not preparing for a movie, I have more freedom, and I incorporate my workout into my life, so that I enjoy it and it doesn’t feel like an obligation."
