Hollywood bigwigs informed Amber Heard that telling the world she was bisexual would tank her budding film career, the actress previously claimed.
She dated both men and women throughout the early stages of her career, but for the most part, fans were only aware of the fellas she was romantically involved with.
Now, after years of speculation Cara Delevingne has now confirmed that rumours of their supposed fling were true - and it seems Heard might have kept it quiet due to warnings from Hollywood hotshots.
Earlier this week, 33-year-old model Delevingne sat down on The Louis Theroux Podcast and ended up spilling the beans about what happened with her and Heard.

Speculation that the pair were more than friends followed them both for years, while it was also even rumoured that the duo had a threesome with Elon Musk at one point - although the Tesla boss denied this.
However, Delevingne has now confessed that she had Heard became 'entangled' following her divorce from Pirates of The Caribbean star Johnny Depp.
When podcast host Theroux pressed her on whether they had either a 'relatively short-lived liaison or a series of physical encounters', the London-born star stated that this was a fair way to describe it.

"We were close for a long time, and then when they were going through the divorce, yeah, we were entangled, I suppose," Delevingne admitted, before claiming: "But she was also entangled with other people."
The model also told renowned documentary-maker Theroux how she struggled to come out as a lesbian, although she later realised 'you can't fight against who you are'.
Delevingne said she feared 'people poking fun' at her about her sexuality, while she explained that she 'didn't feel very seen' and wished she had been 'understood a bit more'.
It appears as though she shares some common ground with Heard on this front, as the Aquaman actress also previously revealed that she was made to fear the reaction she would receive from the public.
The news became public knowledge back in 2010, but prior to that, Heard claims she was told to keep her sexuality under wraps because it would supposedly impact her career - and she said this did end up happening.
She explained that directors questioned if she could play a straight woman in romantic flicks because she was bisexual.
"It did impact my career, it was difficult," the mother-of-three said while speaking at The Economist's Pride & Prejudice event in New York in 2017, as per Sky News.

"It was not easy. I was the only one working in this way, so it was definitely difficult because no one had done it. I did that even though everyone told me it would end my career, without a doubt."
Heard said she answered 'honestly' and 'off the cuff' when a reporter previously quizzed her about her sexuality.
"When I hear someone comment about me coming out, I think it's funny because I was never in," she then laughed, before adding: "Then I realised the gravity of what I had done.
"I started to understand why so many people - studio execs, directors, advisers, agents, producers - why everyone was so adamant about this not being the label that comes before my name.
"I quickly became, not actress Amber Heard, but out lesbian Amber Heard."
Heard has since left the showbiz world behind for a slower paced life in Spain. She recently shared a rare update with fans showing what she's been getting up to with her three kids - Oonagh, Agnes and Ocean.
