Donald Trump reportedly had a heated exchange of words with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the White House last week.
It's said that a meeting at the White House on Friday (October 17) quickly turned sour as a shouting match ensued when the pair spoke about Ukraine reaching a peace deal with Russia.
The news comes after the Trump-led ceasefire agreement, which was reached between Israel and Hamas with the help of other world leaders, was signed off on in Egypt last week.
While many thought this to be the end of the war between the two Middle Eastern nations, it's been reported that Israel has violated the truce several times, killing several Palestinians in a series of strikes since the agreement, according to Sky, with the Gaza Government Media Office claiming that 97 nationals had been killed with 230 wounded since the ceasefire began.

Israel claims it is in retaliation to violations of the truce by Hamas, who have denied their involvement, as Trump admitted that 'we think maybe the leadership isn't involved in that'.

From one conflict to another, the US President remains heavily involved in trying to put an end to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, though as reported by Financial Times, Trump told Zelenskyy he was 'sick' of seeing the latter's frontline during a White House meeting.
The 79-year-old was even said to have tossed maps of Ukraine to the side, as the European nation faces a key week of diplomatic talks regarding support for them from other countries.
Despite Trump's attempts to broker a peace deal between the two nations for the past few months, the American leader has looked to push in favour of Putin's wild peace demands during this weekend's meeting with Zelenskyy, despite signs that he was shifting towards Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has long refused to participate in peace negotiations with Zelenskyy, looking to maintain control over areas of Ukraine in any deal that would be reached.
Officials now believe that the US will not come to Ukraine's rescue, as some European leaders believed Trump's signs of frustration to his Russian counterpart were signs of his stance changing, which hasn't been the case.

Another claimed to the publication that they no longer expect 'strategic shifts' for Kyiv from the US, as Trump's rant seemingly confirmed that European countries must provide more support to the nation.
Following Friday's intense meeting, Zelenskyy debriefed several European leaders, with today's (20 October) meeting of EU foreign ministers and Thursday's summit of EU leaders now taking a new focus.

Talks will commence on how the continent will react to Trump's claims, with a summit between him and Putin expected in Budapest in the next few weeks.
Russia have continued to fly military drones into the airspace of neighbouring nations, though their Air Defence System seemingly mistook a passenger plane for a Ukrainian drone in recent weeks, if Putin is to be believed.
It resulted in an Azerbaijani plane being shot down, killing 38 passengers of the total 67 onboard.
