Explorers entered 'hole to hell' and were shocked at what they discovered down there

It was never likely to be nice down there

Very few people in the world will stumble across a cave entrance named 'hell hole' and decide to dive straight in, but that was the decision of two brothers and they were shocked what they found inside.

For anyone with anxiety or claustrophobia, the idea of going head first into a tight space and not knowing what you're going to find probably sounds like a nightmare come true.

Despite all the horror stories you hear of cave divers getting stuck, such as the man who 'suffered the most brutal silent death in history', while attempting to reach bottom of sinkhole, it seems as if more and more people are starting to enjoy the exhilaration of extreme sports and activities such as this.

The Action Adventure Twins are no strangers to a dangerous cave, and share lots of content on their YouTube channel documenting the weird and wonderful places they explore, including a 'shrine' of human bones which they found in a cave underneath a man's property.

In their latest video, the brothers headed to Santa Cruz, California, to visit a spot deep in the woods, affectionately known as 'hell hole cave'. If that wasn't already sounding like a horror movie, you have to insert yourself through this tiny mail box in order to get inside the cave, and the twins were spooked almost immediately by some rather large spiders waiting at the entrance.

This would be the point where most sensible folks turn around and run away but they did a Tom Daley and just kept on diving, until they finally reached the bottom.

It was soon clear that they weren't the first ones to achieve this feat, as when they reached the bottom, they found some very unusual statues, many of which seem to depict the devil, which made it feel very similar to that one Doctor Who episode with David Tennant and the devil. If you know you know.

The devil statues were accompanied by a cobra, a giant beetle with a battery in it and also randomly a hot dog, which certainly worked to lighten the mood a little bit.

There was also a box filled with a notebook, which let other visitors sign their names, as if it were some sort of family bed and breakfast, but instead of fried eggs and fresh sheets, there were weird figurines and military ammo boxes.

Fortunately, the brothers used their expertise to climb back up again and out of the cave, which is probably the closest I'll personally get to going anywhere near that particular cave.

And now I've told you what's there, there's no need for you to risk going down there either.
