Swingers have reportedly taken over the world's largest nudist resort and have been bonking on the beach in broad daylight, according to longtime residents.
Tens of thousands of people who prefer clothing being optional visit Cap d’Agde in peak season, but the village in the south of France has now been invaded by partner-swapping tourists.
These lot have been dubbed 'lifestyle visitors' by locals, and apparently, these newbies haven't exactly been respecting the etiquette established by its founding fathers.
Cap d’Agde is touted as an 'enclosed, self-contained village where anyone who enjoys walking around in their birthday suit can enjoy a liberating vacation or holiday'.

There are some ground rules and 'unspoken' guidelines that visitors should respect, while local laws are also still in place.

Guests are told to 'avoid using it as a textile resort' and are instead encouraged to strip off - and you can withdraw some money at the bank, eat in a restaurant or nip into the shop while completely starkers.
However, you are advised to be armed with a 'towel or something similar to sit on' at all times, for hygiene reasons.
As you can imagine, there's a sea of bare arses.
Taking snaps during your visit is also frowned upon, while 'lewd or crude behaviour' is also a big no-no at Cap d’Agde, according to the resort's website.
Although nudists are advised to mingle with one another, they are also reminded to 'be respectful of others'.

But the nudists have now reportedly been drastically outnumbered by swingers who have allegedly been engaging in public sex sessions in the scenic spot.
A British woman who previously lived in Cap d’Agde has told how she and her husband now only visit the place during the summer months, as the 'clientele has changed massively'.
Speaking under the pseudonym Barbara, she explained that the naturist village is unrecognisable in comparison to when she first checked it out three decades ago, thanks to 'international swingers' arriving en masse.
"It’s made the place far more exclusive, creating a clear separation between the original naturist crowd and the new generation of lifestyle visitors," she explained.
She reckons that about 40 percent of the clientele at Cap d’Agde is now made up of swingers.

Barbara, who runs a swinging app called SpicyMatch, said she has started to avoid the 1.25-mile private beach that the resort is renowned for because of what unfolds on the sand these days.
She explained that in wake of the rumours about public sex sessions on the beach - which is patrolled 'all day long' by security, lifeguards and police - she has been avoiding it, as it is 'not her preference'.
However, she said that she does not 'see any tension' between the naturists and swingers who visit Cap d’Agde, saying they 'live in harmony'.
Journalist William J Furney shared an graphic account of the illicit activities which are supposedly unfold along the shoreline in the south of France.
Narrating an average day at Cap d’Agde since the army of swingers descended, he wrote: "A woman with long, grey hair lay flat on her back, a portly man on top of her.
"The sight of the two copulating triggered an immediate, almost frenzied reaction among equally naked men nearby who appeared to be on the constant lookout for such action.

"Dozens hotfooted it to the couple and stood almost shoulder to shoulder while touching her and pleasuring themselves," he continued.
"Families with small children strolled by at the water’s edge, some stopping to look in puzzlement at the gathering before moving on.
"Oblivious, the amorous couple continued, at one point the man grabbed the woman’s throat and squeezed as she looked around at her admiring audience."
Furney also said he witnessed 'two large, elderly men having sex', as well as 'several men pleasuring themselves' as they gawked at naked sunbathers.
Signs are dotted around the naturist village warning guests not to engage in 'sexual exhibitionism', which can land them with a €15,000 fine and 12 months behind bars.
For those who might be interested in checking Cap d’Agde out for themselves, the resort describes itself as 'a great location with a unique theme', while encouraging visitors to check out the local markets, harbour walks, beach bars, and outdoor sports...as well as its 'world-famous beach'.
