An Australian musician has revealed he has only a matter of months left to live after a devastating stage-4 cancer diagnosis.
Jordan Brunoli, 29, has spent over a year fighting bowel cancer, but none of the treatments have managed to stop it spreading throughout his body.
Now the bassist for the indie rock band Bugs, from Brisbane, Australia, has shared the heartbreaking prognosis that he has been given just three to four months to live by doctors.
Taking to the band's official Instagram account on Sunday, Brunoli said in a statement: "I have spent over a year now trying different chemotherapy drugs, backed by an amazing oncologist and treatment team.

"Unfortunately, I have a mutation that causes rapid growth of tumours, and none of the treatments have been able to stop the cancer from spreading.
"I am now entering the final chapter of my life after being told in June I had a prognosis of 3–4 months.
"I'm sharing this with everyone to keep y'all in the loop and be as upfront as possible."

Bugs' new album comes out next week
Bugs boast just shy of 50k monthly listeners on Spotify, with their top song amassing well over 5.5 million listens, and they have more music on the way.
Their new album 'Head Noise' releases on August 28, which was worked on throughout Jordan's battle with cancer.
Speaking of the album, he said that it: "Means so much to me.
"I can't wait for you to hear the whole album. We've worked on it for the last two years, through the good and the bad.
"We kept recording when I was recovering from surgery, sick from chemo, even when I had neuropathy so bad I couldn't feel the guitar I was playing.
"With the love and support of everyone, we are finally able to share it with you."

There are more shows to come as well
Singles 'Tough Love' and 'Crystal' have already been released from the album, but it isn't just studio recordings coming down the pipe, as there will be some final gigs as well.
Jordan has promised he'll be on the stage with his bandmates, Connor Brooker and Brock Weston.
"My focus has always been on enjoying the music and sharing it with others," he wrote.
"Playing, recording and touring around Australia with Bugs has been the opportunity of a lifetime.
"I just wanna say, if there were a few final shows coming up, you can bet I'll be playing them."
Jordan thanked Brooker and Weston, especially as they have all 'banded together to indulge' his final wish of releasing the album and playing some final shows before he dies.
The two bandmates set up a GoFundMe to raise money for Jordan when he was first diagnosed in 2025, and it has raised a remarkable $107,845 so far, with donations continuing to come in.
Closing off his statement, Jordan promised he would be making the most of the time he has left.
He wrote: "Thank you everyone, and watch me enjoy... ...the rest of my life. Love, Jords."
Fans flooded into the comments section of the post, which has 8,451 likes, to send their messages of love and support to Jordan.
