'Living Nostradamus' claims Pope Francis will be the 'last leader of the Catholic Church'

Three separate religious factions will emerge according to his calculations

The late Pope Francis was the final leader under the "traditional model" of the Catholic Church, says Athos Salomé - aka 'The Living Nostradamus'.

Aged 88, the Bishop of Rome passed away on Easter Monday (April 21) following a double bout of pneumonia, amongst other health complications.

His funeral scheduled to go ahead this Saturday (April 26) before the various cardinals elect his successor.

In the wake of Francis' death, the Brazilian prognosticator told The Daily Star that a "spiritual revolution" is now imminent, leading to a three-way fracturing of the Church.

"We are on the verge of a spiritual revolution of unimaginable proportions," began Salomé, who most recently (and rather obviously) predicted that artificial intelligence will soon grow more powerful.

"Francis' pontificate may in fact be the last under the traditional model of the Church. The conclave that will elect the new Pope: it will be the longest in modern history, exceeding seven days of intense deliberations.

"But not only will the weather be impressive–supernatural phenomena will mark the period in Rome. Anomalous storms, massive technological failures and unexplained atmospheric events will appear as 'signs from another dimension,'" he went on to list.

As for the conclave's new triumvirate, according to Salomé, they'll consist of traditionalists, reformists, and the supposed 'enlightened', whom share similar visions to him.

"The traditional faction, based in the Vatican, will retain institutional power, but will lose relevance in regions such as Latin America and Africa," he went on to claim.

"The progressive faction, with new headquarters–possibly in Buenos Aires, Bogotá or Nairobi–will attract millions with a more up-to-date, empathetic and inclusive approach. The esoteric faction, smaller and more discreet, will seek to recover the mystical knowledge of the early Christians.

"Its members will carry out contemplative practices, occult rituals and reconnect with traditions that the Church suppressed for centuries."

Meanwhile, the 'Living Nostradamus' went on to suggest female priests will be ordained by the Catholic Church in the next five years in a groundbreaking moment of progression too, while Rome might be battered by earthquakes and floods according to his celestial alignment calculations.

The River Tiber is the cause of this future flooding, which would affect the city and even damage St. Peter's Basilica, symbolising a new spiritual era of sorts.

"I'm not saying, I'm just reporting what I saw. I really hope it doesn't happen," caveated Salomé.
