Donald Trump and Kanye West were seen walking out of the elevator of Trump Towers after meeting for 15 minutes.
The president-elect told reporters that he and Kanye 'go way back', adding: "He's a good man. We've been friends for a long time." He also said that they were talking about "life."

Kanye West remained quiet about what they discussed, saying: "I just want you to take a picture right now."
Mr Trump then hugged the rapper, saying: "You take care of yourself. I'll see you soon."
According to reports, Kanye asked for the meeting and Trump said: "Why not?"
Kanye's creative director, Eli Linnetz, was also there alongside a camera crew.

Trump's team has not yet confirmed what the meeting was about, but Trump's transition team communications director, Jason Miller, told The Daily Beast that the two scheduled the meeting because Trump 'is going to be president for all Americans'.
He also said [Kanye] has had 'positive things to say about the president-elect' and Trump is interested in 'putting together coalitions' and wants to 'reach out to people both from traditional and nontraditional, political viewpoints'.
