Soulja Boy Arrested for Probation Violation As Gun Found In His Home

Soulja Boy has been arrested today for violating probation after police searched Soulja's Hollywood Hills home and found a gun, according to TMZ.

Law enforcement sources said they paid a visit to the rapper and record producer's Hollywood Hills home on a Crime Stoppers tip he had been threatening people online with firearms.

Soulja is on probation right now for his loaded gun case from a couple years ago, so he is not allowed to carry or own any weapons.

Soulja was riding around in the passenger seat of a vehicle that was pulled over in the San Fernando Valley in early 2014, but he denied having any connection with the firearm.

His manager claimed the rapper's neighbor left the gun under the car seat without him being aware.

Just 14 hours ago he posted the following picture to Instagram...

This isn't the first time Soulja has threatened people online.

In November, he threatened to kill a Chicago rapper in a series of tweets which have since been deleted. A week before that, it was reported that Soulja had been sued for threatening to kill a man.
