Last weekend was the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, and, while most of the world were quietly remembering the lives lost, a group of British stags managed to upset the whole country by bringing a blow-up sex doll to Ground Zero.
The thoughtless move resulted in the lads' pictures going viral and now the identity of the groom has come out, and his bride-to-be isn't happy.
The groom is a 33-year-old accountant called Alex Jerrett; he posed for photos with the doll alongside his banker brother and his dad, who's a retired school teacher, the Independent reports.
He was carrying the doll around as a 'forfeit' in a game the pals were playing.
Alex's fianceé, Kiri John, is a model and former Miss Wales and even though she's said to be 'gutted and in tears' she's still going ahead with the wedding.

Kiri's stepdad, Peter Newnes, told the Daily Mail: "Alex is an educated high-flyer but where was his common sense? Kiri is supporting him but we are all gutted by what happened on his stag. His mother is gutted, too. He's a very intelligent guy, he's no fool. But if you look at the photographs you can see he just didn't realise what he was doing."
Although it seems like his new family will be quick to forgive and forget, I think it's safe to say the people of New York won't be welcoming him back with open arms anytime soon. Alex's prank was called 'disturbing' by a spokesperson from the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Rosanne Hughes, who lost her husband, Thomas, in the attack called it 'disgusting', which I think we can all agree on.
