The internet is a funny, old thing, isn't it? In the past few months we've been able to have our meal deals rated, found an unlikely hero in Ken Bone and used it to share videos of 'killer clowns' having the creepiness beaten out of them.
The most recent, bizarre Facebook event to go viral is this one:
The 'Mass', which takes place in Dublin on Sunday (of course) was set up by the page Sunday Morning Mass on RTE One. This is a page that is 'for everyone who likes a good mass with their Sunday morning hangover'.
The spoof event has so far already attracted 116K keen parishioners, as well as a further 27K who are 'interested'. The Pope himself would be impressed with those figures.
Of course people have taken the page very seriously. As you can see in the replies:
