A man has admitted to disembowelling and killing his girlfriend with his bare hands after called out her ex's name whilst they were having sex.
Fidel Lopez, 24, admitted he flew into a drunken rage in September last year after his girlfriend Maria Nemeth, 31, called out her ex-husband's name twice during what he claimed was 'rough sex' and subsequently pulled out her intestines.
He then cried hysterically down the phone to police as his girlfriend lay dying on the floor in the bathroom of the couple's Florida apartment, reported CBS Miami.
In the distressing 911 call, he said: "Hurry up, my girlfriend is in the bathroom.
"Like, I don't know man, she's not breathing! She's gonna die, man! Come on, someone help her!"
Lopez had claimed the couple were drunk on tequila and had some rough sex, but then Nemeth felt ill and went to the bathroom. However, detectives found an incredibly bloody scene at the apartment and after interrogation the truth was revealed.

After trashing their flat, Lopez returned to Nemeth, who was lying unconscious on the floor. He then mutilated her with various objects before using his bare hands to pull out her intestines.
Lopez is being held in Broward County Jail without bond, on charges of murder and sexual battery. Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty against him.
