Sharing the announcement with his own fans, Paul also wrote on Instagram: "Just signed with the @WWE."
The YouTuber and podcaster shared photos of his visit to WWE headquarters, with one snap showing the star posing for the camera with a handwritten message for The Miz, following the run-in at Wrestlemania.
"COMING 4 U @MIZ," the message said.
A press release from WWE added: "Paul teamed with The A-Lister at The Showcase of the Immortals only to have The Miz drop him with a Skull-Crushing Finale following a win over The Mysterios.
"After speculation they might once again team up, Paul made it clear he's out for payback at SummerSlam."
Paul made his official WWE debut at Wrestlemania 38 earlier this year, where he had his first tag-team match with The Miz against the Mysterio father-son duo.
Not only did he achieve a surprise victory – to the point The Miz even turned on him at the end – he seemed to fit naturally into the theatrics and athleticism of WWE, whipping out the Three Amigos and even a Frog Splash.
After the event, many hailed Paul a 'natural', with his brother Jake saying he'd told WWE fans they would have to 'bow down'.
At the time, wrestling writer Bryan Alvarez gushed on Twitter: "You can hate the guy but Logan Paul was a total natural out there."
Podcaster JDfromNY also praised Logan's performance, writing: "Logan Paul absolutely f***ing killed it tonight. He may actually be better than Bad Bunny was last year #WrestleMania. Miz and Paul beat the Mysterio’s. Make them the f***ing tag team champions."
Another fan commented: "Hard to believe that this is Logan Paul’s first wrestling match. Hate to say it but he looks great!"
Someone else also added: "Logan Paul has impressed me more than Bad Bunny. Holy s**t this guy's is a natural."
Speaking to talkSPORT ahead of the match, Paul said he would 'probably' go full-time in WWE.
He said: "If I continue my involvement in WWE, hopefully I can bring stuff to the table that switches it up.
"I’m an innovator and I’m always here to pitch ideas and at the end of the day I’m creative. If I can get more involved in the behind the scenes stuff with Vince’s approval, that would be fun.
"To be honest, bro… Probably. Yeah, probably. It just has to make sense with my schedule.
"I’m doing so much stuff and I have to really be careful where I allocate my energy. This happened with boxing. At first I did it, I tried it out and I loved it, so I kept doing it."
