Nick Young is a successful basketball player who has turned his hand to boxing.

How much is Nick Young worth?

It’s reported that he has a cool $25 million in the bank thanks to his athletic skill.

His basketball career started in high school and college, and in 2013 he ended up signing with the LA Lakers for a rumoured $21.5 million contract.

He has a nickname of Swaggy P which has followed him throughout his career.

Numerous injuries have afflicted him, including a thumb ligament tear and a strained arm which saw him missing multiple games.

He was benched by the Lakers in 2017 so he decided to be a free agent, before signing to the Golden State Warriors.

In his debut game he hit six 3-pointers. He eventually helped the Warriors to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2018 NBA finals.

Off court he appeared in a documentary called Second Chance Season.

It documented his reputation as a ladies man.

He made headlines for dating musician Iggy Azalea in 2014, who he proposed to before they separated. Before Iggy, he had two children, Nick Jr and Navi with an entrepreneur called Keonna Green.

As well as earning megabucks from his sporting career, Young set up the Nick Young Foundation, aiming to prevent gang violence as well as providing support for gang violence victims. He has also talked about wanting to work as a basketball coach for underprivileged children.

In 2017, he put his LA home on the market for $3.5 million, but it eventually sold for a loss at $3.2 million.

The property was previously owned by Selena Gomez.

He stands to earn more this weekend as he takes on musician Blueface at the SocialGloves fight.
