'Secret Hack' To Give Your iPhone 7 A Headphone Jack Is A Hoax

Another day, another hoax. Sadly, people will abuse other people's trusting natures when a new piece of technology comes out, and try and get them to ruin their stuff.

Do you remember a few years back when there was that very official looking iPhone poster than said you could charge your phone in the microwave? Or the update that 'waterproofed' your phone from the inside?

Yes, I know you'd have to be pretty unfamiliar with technology to fall for any of these, but it could be your NAN who falls for it next ffs. And who's going to console her?! She won't be able to ring you because she's just fucked up her phone.

ANYWAY. This arsehole decided to try and trick people into drilling into their new iPhone 7s to find a 'hidden headphone jack'. And, weirdly, people were falling for it. Mashable even reported on it as fact.

These pranksters are getting more and more clever.

But remember, lads. Remain vigilant. Don't try any 'tricks' you see on the Internet. And don't fucking drill into your phone. I can't believe I even have to say this.
