MSC Cruises has just taken things to a whole new level because apparently chilling by the pool isn’t enough anymore.
The cruise line has unveiled a massive upgrade to its family entertainment offering on its upcoming flagship, MSC World Asia, which is set to sail as part of its Mediterranean deployment.
The ship, which launches December this year, will have seven-night voyages to some of the Mediterranean's popular ports for travel, including Barcelona, Marseille, Naples, Rome and Valletta.
And the headline attraction? Something that’ll either look incredible… or absolutely terrifying, depending on your fear of heights.

The ship will feature the Cliffhanger, Europe’s first over-water swing ride, which will suspend riders about 50 metres above the ocean, dangling them out over open water.
Our reporter Emily tried the Cliffhanger when it first debuted on the World America ship - the very first open-water swing - and was a huge fan.
Well, we trust her opinion, where can we sign up?

Inside MSC World Asia
The Cliffhanger is part of the huge open-air area onboard called The Harbour, which is basically being turned into a full-blown floating theme park just in the middle of the sea.
The space will include ropes courses, waterslides and the longest dry slide at sea, alongside a mix of attractions designed for both kids and adults.
Teen-focused activities are also getting a serious upgrade, with AI-led experiences hosted by a character called Yuna.
Gameshows at sea
There are also three new interactive game shows.
Code Breakers challenges players to crack a secret code against the clock, adding a fast-paced, high-pressure twist to the experience
Labyrinth puts your intelligence, strategy and sense of direction to the test as you navigate your way through the challenge.
Meanwhile, Chart Toppers is a quiz-style game where families go head-to-head to name songs and artists from across different generations.

Activities will include K-pop themed parties, roller dance nights, competitive quiz and challenge games, as well as dedicated teen-only sessions across various onboard venues.
MSC says the goal is to create more personalised and interactive experiences for teens, rather than the usual one-size-fits-all approach.
The Clubhouse also has MasterChef at Sea Juniors and Guinness World Records challenges.
And it’s not just younger guests getting the attention.
The ship will also feature a redesigned Aqua Deck with multiple pools and whirlpools, plus a range of entertainment spaces aimed at keeping passengers busy day and night.
So if you thought cruises were all about sun loungers and buffet queues… think again.
