A mum from Perth said she 'really didn’t understand what the big deal was' when deciding to keep details of her adult job private from her children.
Lucy Banks made the move to OnlyFans after quitting her corporate banking role and separating from her husband six years ago.
In her four-year spell as a sex worker, she earned over $1.5 million, which has now allowed her 'to step back a bit' from the adult industry.
The mother-of-two, 34, is now the founder of Million Billion Media, a 'spicy' PR and marketing company that helps adult content creators scale their brand.

When Lucy was first starting out, however, she made a 'huge effort' to keep her new career a secret from her local community to avoid offending anyone.
This pretty much worked until her so-called 'friends' reported her to police because they thought she was being a 'bad mum', reports news.com.au.

“People have a real fascination with sex workers and adult creators. I had multiple people from my ‘real life’ subscribe and be weird with me,” she told the outlet.
“They would feed me facts about my life, to scare me and show that they actually knew me. I also had people screenshot my content and send it around.

“These people were calling my kids' school, the police and child protection.
“It was overwhelming at some points, and it made me extremely sceptical about who I could trust.”

Lucy explained: “Being a mother is such an intrinsic part of me. It’s everything.
“As much as being accused of being a bad mother really stung, it was awful, I quickly snapped out of it. I’m an exceptional mother.

"Anyone who is in my network, and who actually knows me, will tell you, I would do anything for my kids.”
The adult star also opened up about the moment her 10-year-old son found out about her career.

“He just asked me straight out, ‘Mum, do you do OnlyFans?’” she said, revealing that someone had purposely told him.
“I was always going to have that conversation with them. I had only kept my children away from anything like that because it’s not age-appropriate.

“So it was really disappointing that someone else had taken it upon themselves to tell my young son about it.
“I spent years shielding and keeping my kids away from anything inappropriate and I did a great job of that.”
