When you get back to your hotel room on a holiday, you usually want to kick back and relax. You know, flick through the random TV channels, maybe scran some crisps and lay down on the comfy bed.
You’re not exactly hoping to walk into wafts of a ‘strange smell’. And you’re certainly not wanting to think your ‘life is over’ when you take a peek under the bed.
But that nightmare came true for one woman when she was travelling solo in Tokyo, Japan.

Natalisi Taksisi went viral on TikTok when she documented her unnerving discovery after returning to her room into a seemingly secure hotel that ‘looked legit’ and needed a key card to access the floors.
The Ukrainian vlogger said that it was about 7.30pm on 30 March when she got undressed and laid down in bed.

But then she started to notice a ‘weird smell’ that she thought could’ve been from herself before realising it was coming from under the bed.
“Jokingly, I thought 'what if there's a dead person laying under the bed?'” the 32-year-old claimed to The Sun.

“But when I leaned over to check, I saw a pair of eyes staring at me."
Natali couldn’t believe her eyes and froze in fear before jumping up and screaming so much the people next door could hear.
Standing up on her bed, she then watched as this man climbed out from underneath and ‘stared’ at her for a few seconds.
“Those seconds felt like my life was over," she said on TikTok.

She added to the outlet that she was ‘screaming and crying’. “It was like a horror movie,” she said. “And then he just started to scream."
Natali claims he then fled the scene while others could hear her screams but ‘were afraid’ to leave their rooms.
The police were soon called to the hotel and started to investigate, as they found a portable charger and USB cable that the uninvited guest had left behind.

But she was apparently told that the officers ‘probably wouldn’t find him’ and she immediately left and took a taxi to a different hotel.

However, it ruined the rest of her trip as it ended up being ‘five days of horror’.
"I'm afraid he just wanted to wait until I switched off the lights, fall asleep and then climb from under the bed and choke me or do whatever," she explained.
"It's like my nightmare."
Natali adds that it’s left her having ‘severe panics’ in hotels and she now can’t travel as she’s so anxious from the incident.
She’s warned other women travelling to ‘check everything’ but also doesn’t want to ‘scare all girls’, just advising them to ‘be cautious’.
