Famous ‘rave gurner’ admits what substances he was on during the iconic video

Back in 2019, the famous 'rave gurner admitted what substances he was on in the iconic video of him in a nightclub.

Let's all face it, we all love a good night out from time to time - and with Christmas right around the corner, many of us will be heading out to celebrate.

And it is fair to say that that no one parties harder with his mates than the 'gurning rave guy'.

Shaun Jackson became famous after appearing in a promo video for a nightclub in 2014 where it is fair to say he was having a good time.

Believe it or not, that video is now eight years old, but Jackson is still as much an icon as he was back in the day.

Obviously Jackson had a fair bit to drink as shown by his moves in the iconic clip, but he has also admitted what substances he was on as well.

While appearing on the Flexxed podcast in 2019, Jackson candidly revealed which substances he had taken. Watch it below:

Surprisingly, Jackson admitted that it wasn't his idea to actually go out, as he was asked by others whether he wanted to go to a nightclub in Preston.

He said he was asked to go Bounce by The Ounce in Preston, a club that Jackson had never heard of, but decided to go.

Speaking on the podcast, he said: "So I've gone out from there that night, three quarters of a bottle of Vodka already down by neck and then three or four drags of real good MD (MDMA)."

"The rest is history," as the co-hosts of the podcast hilariously laugh.

Jackson was then asked if he knew the cameras were then when he was filmed for the clip that would change his life forever.

He said that he saw the camera there in the club, so he decided to be a bit silly in front of it as 'he loves cameras', he jokingly said.

The Northerner added: "When I go out anyway if there is a camera there or not, I am always doing a bit of mad stuff just to get people laughing."

Others on the show then ask Jackson to do his iconic move, which he does with no hesitation, leaving them in stitches.

He claims that things got even wilder later on in the evening - we are just gutted that wasn't filmed, too.

'Rave Gurner' guy is that iconic that in recent months an action figure of him in the club was released - now we really want that.
