Ryanair passengers warned to 'avoid' sitting in row 11, 12 or 33 for specific reason

Apparently, there are actually good and bad seats on Ryanair - not just bad

Let’s not beat around the bush, there are some airlines that just, well, simply aren’t as comfy as others.

And passengers on Ryanair flights can often be heard complaining about one thing or another. But still, the budget airline can help make going on holiday a whole lot cheaper.

So, as many of us are set to take to skies this summer and travel off for a little break, Ryanair customers have been warned to avoid sitting in rows 11, 12 or 33 for a specific reason.

While it’s often taking the p**s on X or banning a common item that millions might have in their hand luggage, the airline did actually offer up some useful advice to passengers.

If you can be bothered paying extra, there’s often the option to specifically select which seats you’ll have onboard a plane with prices varying dependent on where they are.

And Ryanair have shared which seats are the best to pick on their plane map.

So, say you’re someone who likes to be up on their feet the moment the flight lands and be one of the first to get off, then you want to try and sit in those golden first five rows.

Or, if leg room is the essential, then of course rows 1 A-C, 2 D-F, 16 and 17 are the best seats to bag because they are located right near the emergency exits.

Plus, if you’re reserved in row 16 or 17, then you can usually check-in up to 60 days before take-off. Of course, going on holiday means the floods of photos all over Instagram and if you want to kick all that off with the perfect window snap, you want to try and sit between rows 15 and 18 on a Ryanair aircraft.

“They’re the Instagram photos that have always eluded you - the one with the perfect pinky-blue sky, fluffy clouds and otherworldly rays of sunlight, all framed by a cheeky wing peeking out from the corner,” the airline explained.

“To capture these absolute beauties, book a window seat that’s located somewhere between rows 15 and 18 – it’s your time to shine."

If you’re a snacker and can’t go the full flight without getting the munchies, then the best seats for getting food and drink are, unsurprisingly, rows 1, 2 and 33 as you’ll be right near the crew.

But when it comes to seats to avoid, 11A doesn’t have a window (although this could be good to get some sleep) and 12A and F may also have a misaligned or absent window.

Depending on your priorities, you might also choose to swerve rows 1 and 33 because they’re so close to the loos. Fly safe – and without the toilet smell.
