Sex Coach Explains How Men Can Last Longer In Bed

No shame in clicking folks

Lasting in the sack can be a challenge, but like with any event (if you can call sex an event), there are things you can do to improve your time.

And just as you should listen to an athletics coach if you want to improve your sprint time, you should probably listen to a sex coach if you want to improve your personal best in the boudoir.

Introducing Rosa Maxwell, who has a few tips to help you delay/prolong your gratification.

Speaking recently on The Fellas podcast, she said: "Kegel muscles are like, you have lots of different muscle groups in your pelvis, and the kegels are one of those.

"So by squeezing and releasing those, you can strengthen them. It can help you control ejaculation.

"A lot of the work that I do, I use a lot of breathwork techniques. There are particular techniques as well that you can do where you breathe in and squeeze those muscles.

"To squeeze them, it's basically kind of like stopping yourself from having a p**s or a s**t. It's the same feeling."

Phwoooar, can't think of anything more erotic.

Rosa was also keen to emphasise that sex isn't all about finishing, or when you finish, adding that the average bonk duration might not be as long as you'd think.

She said: "This is a big insecurity that men can experience, that length of time.

"Firstly, I want to say that the average time I think is around seven minutes, that's the average."

She went on to explain that a climax doesn't necessarily have to be the climax of the sex sesh for either party (or any party, if there's more than the two of you involved in said sex sesh).

She said: "Everyone is so different, and sex doesn't just have to be penis in vagina, or anything like that.

"So even if you orgasm quickly as a man, I really want to normalise all of this, because it's so normal.

"I want people not to feel shame around it; a huge part of the work I do is deshamification of everything, because shame is such a rubbish emotion."

Watch here:

She continued: "If you do orgasm quickly, and you're like, 'Oh, yeah, amazing orgasm,' that's such an awesome mindset to have.

"Then you can spend time pleasuring your partner, if they still desire an orgasm, and they still desire to continue the sexual exploration.

"It doesn't have to end when one person c**s."

And if you're after some unprofessional tips to help you last longer, I can recommend drinking excessively or visualising something grim and uninspiring, like a wet pavement or a spreadsheet.
