The hottest new skate park has opened in Shoreditch, East London – Samsung Flip Park, with drop-in skateboarding and a packed programme of events to enjoy. Novice or pro, this free, two-week event is inviting everyone to tap into their inner skater.

Inspired by the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, the new pop-up is a skateboarding experience like no other. In partnership with Skateboard GB, Flip Park is a fusion of tech and skate culture, to create an interactive experience, where everyone’s invited.

Skate culture is having a real moment. Search #skatetok on socials, and you'll find thousands of videos which have racked up more than 2.3 billion views on TikTok. This isn’t just a trend, it’s a whole movement.

Skateboarding is the ultimate leveller. Step on the board and labels fade faster than a kickflip. What’s important is having the guts to try. For Samsung, skateboarding is a true representation of its ‘Tu-hon’ ethos, which celebrates this spirit of relentless determination embodied by the skateboarding community.

Samsung Flip Park isn't just ramps and rails, it’s a space to hang, share, create and express yourself. Open until 16th December, there will be free skate sessions, alongside a mix of immersive experiences.

Beginners, fear not. Pros from Skateboard GB have got your back with bookable lessons on the board in the Z Line Skatepark. So, learn how to nail that kick flip and how to get your skills noticed on TikTok.

Beyond the tricks, dive into a range of events, like spray painting workshops, the chance to design your own board, and skate photography sessions. Plus, there’s DJ sets from the guys at Rinse FM, some of the best burgers in town, and bespoke selfie printers on your coffee.

But that’s not all – check out the interactive product experiences for some extra cool content for your social feed! At the ‘Flip Your Trick’ experience, anyone can transform themself into a skateboarding pro (on paper at least) or strike a pose and create magazine-worthy snaps at the ‘Flip Your Angle’ experience all captured on the Galaxy Z Flip5.

If you’re visiting London over the next couple of weeks, don’t miss Samsung Flip Park. Located on Shoreditch High Street (201-207 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6LG), it’s open to the public from noon till late every day until 16 December 2023.

Simply Drop In with Samsung to enjoy the interactive experience on offer or visit samsung.com/uk/flippark to check out the full programme and book a spot at one of the scheduled events.
